About

Melissa Trauger, M.A., LPC, LCADC, ACS, CCS, NCC, is an accomplished behavioral health leader with more than a decade of experience in mental health and substance use treatment. As Clinical Director, she is dedicated to advancing clinical excellence while ensuring every client receives compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based care.

Melissa has extensive experience treating individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, trauma, and serious and persistent mental illness. She has worked extensively with veterans, first responders and individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping clients develop the skills, resilience, and confidence needed to achieve lasting recovery and improved mental wellness.

Her clinical specialties include cognitive behavioral therapy, addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), crisis intervention, de-escalation, family systems, and recovery-focused treatment planning. Melissa believes in creating a safe, collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and reach their full potential.

Melissa earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). Her leadership is grounded in clinical integrity, professional mentorship, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health and substance use disorders.
