What is a virtual IOP?

An intensive outpatient program gives you several hours of therapy each week while you keep living at home and working or going to school. In our virtual IOP you join the same program by telehealth instead of driving to our Cherry Hill campus.

How our virtual IOP works

  • Schedule: evening group sessions, 6:00–9:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Hybrid: you can attend by video, in person at our Cherry Hill campus, or switch between the two.
  • Individual counseling with a licensed therapist alongside group sessions.
  • Care from the same team that runs our in-person programs.

Who virtual IOP is a good fit for

  • You’ve finished detox, residential rehab or PHP and want continued support.
  • You need more help than weekly therapy but can’t step away from work or family.
  • You have a safe, stable place to live and a private space for sessions.
  • You live outside South Jersey. Virtual IOP is open to adults 18 and older wherever they live.

Virtual IOP is not a substitute for detox. If you might have withdrawal symptoms, start with medical detox.

What you’ll need

  • A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and a reliable internet connection
  • A private, quiet space during sessions
  • An email address to receive your session link
